Today started off with Anthony, Sean and I making a few trips between the Bride’s and Groom’s hotels to make sure that we got all of the footage and photos that we needed.  Since neither of the two sides were in their full numbers we had to go back and forth.  not so bad, they were only a short distance away from each other.  I was already under the gun a bit because I was trying out some new gear that was supposed to make the SDE (Same Day Edit) easier. Anyways, we shot some really cool shots of the groom in this stairwell (you have to see them), and some cool “windy veil” shots of Lencil.

From there we went to the church.  Now, I didn’t mention that Lencil and I go way back…but we do.  We’ve been family friends for most of my life (and I’m getting up there…ish).  Well, it wasn’t a big surprise to see a ton of familiar faces when I walked into the sanctuary.  but, duty called and I had to get back to work with a quick hello to some family members and some waves and smiles to friends.  After a quick ceremony and an even quicker escape, we headed off to the park.

After getting the footage that we needed from the park we headed back to the reception hall where I would start my SDE.  Anthony ran video while Sean took care of the Same Day Thank-you Cards (a huge hit…as usual) and I edited.  What an amazing team I work with man, no joke.  I didn’t have to look at my video camera for the first hour of the reception and Anthony (cinematographer turned photographer) reverted back to his old ways and took care of it for me.  Well, the SDE and the Same Day Thank-you Cards came off without a hitch and Lencil and Mark enjoyed an awesome reception.

Have fun in the Virgin Islands!
